High Mileage Oil on a 2 year old High Mileage Car?

In Texas, consider a 0w-40 or a reduced SAPS oil like PZ Euro L 5w-30 Rotella Gas Truck 5w-30 looks like a good candidate on paper. Slightly thick and unique add pack possibly for GDI like a Dexos gen 2, pretty much like a brand new A5 oil would appear on paper. As you know, the only A5 oil...

    A nokian lineup review

Just because promotional literature claims a tyre is specifically designed for North America doesn't mean it's actually exclusive to this market. I use Z-line on my V8 Benz convert, which I park over winter....but never want to get stuck in snow if I drive it back from FL. Also, I still drive...

No probs. If anybody else wants some, I still have a few. SOPUS certainly has been generous to me over time.

I had it backwards, thinking 504 for a shorter (6mo) interval, and full SAPS for a longer interval of 12mo. I don't think we fully understand the implications of the two different formulas. Heck, VW's sticker under the hood even lists these 2 vastly different oils; 502 and 504. I would...

    2018 VW Golf Sportwagen tuned 1.8 TSI K&N 6K OCI LM 5W40

My best friend owns a BOSCH Service Center and does work on customer's cup cars. So, from that and my background at the local VAG dealership, my tendency leans towards OE-type service. It is, as was said, my preference. I do like the way Fram air filters seal with that orange foam gasket. Just...

lol, all the experts but not one brain cell. Nobody thinks 10w-30 HD would work perfectly in this engine, that dates back to the 1980's? That's hilarious. Too bad the experts are actually noobs who too young to understand which oil was used in these engines initially. Take a guess, or ask your...

The only fool is the person who resorts to personal insults. We're talking about VW 502, which is a lame old spec that you know nothing about, dummy.

There's no reason a disposable air filter can't be manufactured with cotton gauze as the media. "Serviceable" is just a design and marketing objective to get $50 for a filter. An inexpensive gauze filter could be applied to production vehicles just as well, but cotton does not meet mfg specs for...

    3.2 V6 Cayenne oil help

Rotella 10w-30 is about the same as 5w-40 in the cold anyway, so no real need for a "synth" oil in these Euro non-turbo engines, not even DI ones. HT/HS of 3.5cP and good additives is all you need, HD 10w-30 weight has it for $10/g.
