Thanks for all the suggestions. I know there are a lot of good oils out there. I *think* I'm going to try a synthetic (Maxlife) for a 6k mile OCI and do used oil analysis to see how it holds up. I do like the idea of not having to do oil changes every 2500 miles (severe service interval).

Is Syntec better because it will not break down as quickly thus providing more protection to 7500 miles? I read that it is a Group III, so does that mean I don't have to worry about springing new leaks when I switch to this "synthetic" oil in my old Toyota?
