Italian sausage, olive, banana pepper and jalapeño pizza... With whole milk mozzarella and ricotta.

My buddy ultimately ended up trading it in for some over inflated price, like 16-18K or so. No brainer at that point, but how they paid that much for it is beyond me considering the work it needs. Oh well! He has a Subaru now he loves.

Dinner tonight was a Tomato Pie. A two day fermented Sicilian dough, Stanislaus 7/11 tomatoes with a little salt/sugar/chili flake added, topped with fresh garlic, olive oil and Pecorino Romano. Don't get much better. So good.

Since nobody seems to make them in this part of the country, decided to make some buttermilk bars today... Had a few out in California and just loved them, so I suppose I had to make my own. Most of the time around where I live, places might do sour cream donuts at best, but not quite the same...

The only place I have crown molding is in my kitchen (modern/remodeled kitchen) around my cabinets to close up the space above and it looks great. But I really don't like it in every room of a house, nor do I care for it overall.

The battery mount on our beater Mazda rusted/broke months ago, so the battery just rocks around in the battery box in the engine. Finally drilled out the broken fastener today and replaced it with a new one from the hardware store. Battery is now all secure once again. This morning I also...

Last nights pizzas... Two day cold ferment sourdough dough, whole milk mozz, fresh basil from the garden and some EVOO drizzled on top. Sauce was strained Stanislaus Tomato Magic. No added salt/sugar/etc...

Last nights Sicilian/Detroit pizza I made. A hybrid of styles simply because of the added Wisconsin Brick cheese along the crust prior to baking, like a Detroit, but otherwise it has the thickness of a typical Sicilian. Trying out a new Mozzarella which is stunning, so much more nutty/buttery...
