1970 era small block 350. Not exactly sure of the internals but it was rebuilt in the mid 1990's for drag racing. I do not use the car to drag race any longer but certainly don't baby it. I was thinking of going with the SAE 30 oil they have.

I don't have specific sites to reference as I did not save them. I was surprised by the negative Amsoil comments but I did see them on two different sites and just thought I would ask here.

Is anyone else having problems viewing the pictures. I checked them again and they seem to be fine. Regardless there was no hint of sludge so I am not concerned about that as an issue now though I do plan to switch to a detergent oil. Just not sure which one yet.

I have a Gen I Chevy Small Block 350 in my car and the previous owner was using NAPA NON-DETERGENT SAE 30 motor oil in the car. I have continued to use this oil since that is what has been in the engine prior to my ownership but I am curious what others use in this vintage motor?
