I've found that the problems with high oil temperature on the LM2 motors are directly related to the oil tubes that spray oil onto the underside of the pistons, which rapidly transfer the oil heat from the aluminum pistons to the oil. It only takes seconds to raise the oil temperature 25 degrees...
