Anyone got a good place for this stuff? I’d like to find frame able or pre-framed prints of GM diesel engines, especially the latest duramax. My google fu isn’t turning up much.

    OEM scanner for duramax l5p

Looks like there’s a subscription? Bummer but I guess I won’t have a choice when warranty is up. Been out of the game a LONG time, I was used to buying memory cards.

    OEM scanner for duramax l5p

Hey guys, just what the title says. I’ve had Ford OEM tools but I just bought a 2017 duramax. What is the correct tool the dealer uses for glow plug programming, etc.? I’m not in a hurry, this is the first GM I’ve owned since ‘93, lots of warranty coverage left. The tool dealers I’ve checked...

    No CD Player !!!

For a small finders fee, I just happen to know where you can buy a car with CD player perpetually stuck playing limp bizkit.

Well if you want to replicate a modern diesel, you'll have to solder in a check engine light that never shuts off.<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted by Miller88</div><div class="ubbcode-body">I believe that's nitro fuel right? If I did this right the pic should be attached. How cool is a glow engine with electric start, alternator, and water cooling? <img src="https://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/attachments/usergals/2019/06/full-15753-33261-308895dc_4bef_4d5b_9b78_6b9f2ba45926.png" alt="[Linked Image]"...

    Catastrophic ecodiesel failure

I used to have a 5.9. The filter isn't even remotely similar. It's not pleated, looks like a smooth cellulose, no idea on manufacturer. I can take a pic if you want.<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted by bullwinkle</div><div class="ubbcode-body"><div...

Stanadyne in the summer, antigel in the winter. Fuel here can be between 5 and 20 percent bio. We got down to -22 for a few days this winter. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted by wwillson</div><div class="ubbcode-body">turbodieselfreak, Did you run any...

You're absolutely correct. I meant this post as more of a heads up to fellow owners, not a complaint.<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted by Astro14</div><div class="ubbcode-body">I think you're lucky. The dealer is warranting this whole mess. The engine...

    Catastrophic ecodiesel failure

The part number hasn't changed to my knowledge. I was just surprised because I had read so many horror stories of FCA finding any reason to deny a warranty claim. And it's not just them, all the big 3 use the cp4 pump and look for an out.☹️
