"I'd go back to a stock paper air filter for better filtration." I did just that. I know seasoned K&N filters do filter small particulates better than freshly cleaned, but just my OCD to clean the filter when changing the oil. The K&N filter was seated properly in the lid cover.

I did check, and the oil basically sheared down to a 30w oil.

Well .. That might depend on the actual synthetic content of T5 oils. I'm guessing the 50/50 mixture of T4/T6 will have higher synthetic content, but who knows ??

I just changed out 5 quartz of Amsoil 5w40 Metric motorcycle oil in my 2022 Can Am Spyder. The oil had 5900 miles on it. I did send it off to Blackstone for an analysis. No issues or concerns with the oil. I did replace it with 5 quartz of Castrol R 10w50 that I had on hand. I'll post results...

Yup ... The dealership I worked at in Madison (WI) was informed about Victory discontinuation via an email that Polaris sent them over a weekend. Being 6'3"/36" inseam, the Vision was the tourer that fit me best.

Sold Victory's, then Indians for a few years after retiring. The Victory's were superior bikes.

Thanks for the info. So I'm guessing that this Castrol 10w50 I ordered in July 2023 has a date of Jan. 19, 2023? I'll use the (4) quarts of 10w50 this spring, and the (4) quarts of 10w40 next spring. No more stockpiling. I'll only ordered as needed :)
