What about the base oil? I recall reading somewhere that FS 0W-40 is reformulated with Group 3 base oil, or has it always been Group 3?

It kind of make sense. Because I believe the only Mobil 1 0W-40 that carry the DexosR approval is the Supercar, which was the Mobil 1 ESP x 3 0W-40 before the most recent shuffle and reformulation.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what does P.E.A stand for and what is its function? TIA.
