Liquid titanium and break in oil

Got this from phillips 66. Here’s a recap of what we discussed on the phone: Super-D XA/Guardol ECT uses a high level of zinc, phosphorous, and liquid titanium as anti-wear additives. The liquid titanium is our standout component because it is a unique development of ours and promotes...

Liquid titanium and break in oil

I understand it's the anti wear additive in kendall and I think castrol. There is information all over this forum about it. But little in reference to HDEO

Liquid titanium and break in oil

The dealers sell their oil, which is rebottled mobile delvac. But the engines come from the factory with a combination of mobile and Chevron, it was dependant on who's oil met what ratings at the time of manufacturing I understand. And I haven't researched the right oil rating yet, the engine is...

Liquid titanium and break in oil

I've done a lot of reading in here and come to read that the liquid titanium in kendall is no longer, however I can't find anything in relation to they're HDEO. Does it still retain the liquid titanium? How does the liquid titanium work with new engine break in? Everything I'm reading states to...

    Assembly lube suggestions?

No one said I was uncomfortable. I'm asking opinions on different products. My machine work is good, I've just never used assembly lube so this is new territory for me.

    Assembly lube suggestions?

One guy said he's cut filters open and found lubriplate stuck in the filter. I'm wondering if a different brand of assembly lube would be better. Any experience on the CRC stuff with the moly graphite? Or suggestions on other extreme pressure assembly lubes good for a diesel?

    Assembly lube suggestions?

I'm told I can make. Prelube kit very easily out of a new air tank. Now the white grease is that similar to the lubriplate 105?

    Assembly lube suggestions?

So I should add, typically we unplug the ecm, and turn it over til we get pressure giving the starter a break in the meantime. The oil pressure gauge is manual so a good reference.

    Assembly lube suggestions?

The oil pump is gear driven off the crank, so the only way to rotate is to use the starter.

    Assembly lube suggestions?

I posted on another forum and forgot about this one. Building a Detroit diesel series 60 engine. I've had 2 suggestions when building. 1. Use an assembly lube on the main, rod, cam bearings. Specifically lubriplate 105 was suggested. 2. No assembly lube, use a pressure primer before you...

    HD 15W40 usage questions

Likely no. But thought I'd ask. From all my reading on here they're all great oils from what I understand. I just never got that part

    HD 15W40 usage questions

I'm sure. And I'd agree. I just wouldn't understand how an engine can go from using a gallon in 10k miles with one oil, to not using any with another oil. Just seems like there is more to it.
