Any suggestions on types of differential fluid and weights? Don't have the manual on me so don't remember what it calls for.
Was able to find a copy of the manual...

Just got a 2000 Chevy Silverado 5.3L V8 with auto transmission and about 75k miles on it passed down through the family. After looking through the records it looks like not much has been done to it except oil changes. I am going to plan on changing out most of the fluids here in the next few...

Take care, bill
I searched before but I think I spelled O'Reilly wrong on my search lol
O'Reilly has a special this month where you can get 5 qts O'Reilly Full Synthetic oil and a Wix filter starting at 19.99 (depends how much your filter is). So I was wondering if anyone knows how good this O'Reilly Full synthetic is or who makes it?
Thanks Greenaccord!
Ok I am going to stock up on some cheap oil.
What weight should I use in a 1987 Jeep Wrangler? It is an old school carburetor 4.2L. I think the owners manual calls for 10w-30, does that sound right?

The autozone oil by us was API SL long after SM oils...
AutoZone has a deal for 5 quarts of AutoZone oil and an STP filter for $9.99! Does anyone know anything aboout this oil? Who makes it? I would be buying this for my 87 Jeep wrangler that only sees 2-3k miles per year, with yearly oil changes.
where can I get the Lubegard at? I went to wally world and Advance Autoparts today and I didn't see any kind of Multivehicle ATF at either of them, they were all dextron ratings or type A type F etc.
The fluid that was last used was penzoil from Jiffy Lube. I was told that was good fluid so I am thinking of using it again, but I just am not sure what kind I need to get.
I picked up a gallon of this at wally world yesterday:
