I agree 1000000% it's not easy and all takes decades to be more accurate but this wasn't based one tank full or even a few tank full, more like a few years (prior to using it) and money comparison leaving my bank, lol. Then again it was based one engine.

Yep, I know. Both my average winter and summer mpg's increased. I actually started to use other Lucas product as an experiment, and yeah my mpg increased even more over time. At least now I know why the hate, lol. I get it, I can relate the same on a few other things too, 🤣.

It depends how aggressive of a driver you are and not as much the situation. An aggressive daily driving can tear it down pretty quickly. Since 2016 & 25k is about 3k per year, depends on the history it had, I would keep using it knowing my own driving style.

I can see how it slowed the leak, oil became more viscous and harder to flow thru the same hole. lol, I didn't use to fix a leak, it was just something I noticed. I mentioned that it did improve my mpg, not that it didn't. I know that stuff is thicker but hey, I saw improvements and kept using it.

Well then, where can I find it for $0.25? It reduced my slow oil leak by a lot (had a bad oil seal drain bolt) and improved my mpg. If I can find the same stuff for $0.25 that will save me $ even more.

I also had good and similar results with other fuel additives too. Once I stop using it the mpg goes back to normal. I used it full time for over 3 years and my average mpg slowly climbed from 30 average to 35 in summer driving. I also wonder the thing.

Did your rear diff have a clutch (packs)?

hmmmm, I see. No, I haven't done researched on it yet. I had an integra for 15yrs and used that stuff for maybe 13 yrs. I was actually getting better mpg and the engine was still good when I traded in. **Added: Yes, it does look thick but I mix it.

What were the original grade spec for all of those? Do you drive in cold climates? I'm on the same boat as OP, where my original spec (for my PTU) calls for 75w85 but looking for alternatives.

Why are there so much hate for this stuff, has everyone used it and got bad results? I've been using it 10+ years with good results.
