When they talk about base oils, group 1 - 4, I understand group 1-3 is refined from mineral oils. My question is about PAO base stock, I've heard this is a chemical compound derived from hydro carbons, doesn't this mean it also comes from Crude Oil or the gases left over or created when refining...
