I just got rid of my 2016 Sonata for a 2017 Camry. While the Sonata was more bang for the buck (have to put in aftermarket CarPlay in the Camry), I sleep better at night with the Toyota. The whole Theta II engine fiasco is still sort of a black hole. Issues are reported up to and including 2018...

A lot of factory systems suck. I'd get the car you want and put in something like the Sony XAV-AX100 (or AX5000 for an upgraded unit). Plus you can get CarPlay if you want it (which I only find useful for maps).
