    A lot of factory systems suck. I'd get the car you want and put in something like the Sony XAV-AX100 (or AX5000 for an upgraded unit). Plus you can get CarPlay if you want it (which I only find useful for maps).

    @CKN What year was your son's Sonata? They do seem to be replacing out of warranty, but it's certainly a hassle and potentially dangerous depending on when/where it fails.
