Just to clarify, the damage is on the rim, not the tire - the are nicks/scratches into the aluminum bead from the steel spoons. Trying to see what is the best way to polish these out.

I don't ride in 0F, but I do ride in 0C. The record cold I took the bike out was -9C. I've been using KTM/Motorex 10W-60, but I've heard the hydraulic chain tensioner works much better with 15w-60, but wasn't able to find it, other than the Motul I posted in my original post.

I have a 22 KTM 690, and the recommended factory oil is 10w-50, but most recommend using thicker 10w-60, some even recommending 15w-60. I've been looking online for 15w-60, and looks like the only one available is Motul 300v Factory Line 15w60 100% Synthetic. I wonder if this is a suitable oil...

I've always noticed with BMWs they are less prone to transfer wheel vibrations into the cabin. I guess they might have better suspension/steering column construction that damped vibrations. The worst I had was a Lexus GS many years ago, the whole steering column construction had many wobbly...

Yes, but generally Michelins have been problem free. I believe these are USA made, need to double check. I can live with the 25lb as I don't feel any vibrations through the car. It started with 51lb, so big improvement.

Correct, it can also detect hopping and then the machine can measure the runout. I know mine is not hopping because it would be felt at all speeds, mine is completely smooth before it hits about 55mph. I just don't why none of the wheels would zero out on the machine.

I just wonder what could cause a tire not to balance out. If it was just one wheel, maybe it could be an issue with the rim or the tire, but all four wheels. The technician spun the wheel on the machine, it displayed the initial set of weights and locations. Install the weights, spin it again...
