Yes the vehicle specs 5w30, it has an OLM which is currently registering just under 50% life. I plan on switching over to synthetic when it hits 25%.

It one of the cartridge types (ecotec). The problem with this vehicle is that its so new that UOA's are hard to come by. There are plenty of 2.4's but none running quite the same set up (and pushing that much weight) where I would consider them equivalent. I was thinking either Amsoil, Ultra, or...

Im rounding 5k on a new 2010 Equinox and was looking for some advise on a oil/filter combo. I do a lot of highway driving and mostly leave it in "Eco" mode. I have no problem putting in the best, im just not to sure what the best is in my case. Thats why I came to talk to the experts Thanks...
