My suggestion is one dedicated microfiber cloth to your wheels for the wipe down. Use any spraywax you like after you wash. I like Turtlewax products. To me, they have proven their durability.
I feel like my 17 Camry SE is delivering on everything I wanted in it. Hard to complain. Some paint bubbles, chips, etc. I can tell the screen on the head unit will not last forever. But overall, I'm happy with it.
To combat streaking, I will use a damp microfiber. I will wring it out as best as I can. It seems to spread whatever product you are using much better...especially at the beginning.

I like the Armor All Tire Shine in the aerosol can. It's easy to apply. With your bottle, I would consider evening it out with an applicator.
ETA: For white walls, I like to use Brillo or SOS pads.

I spray it on while the car is still wet, and use it as a drying aid. The mist is fine, so I spray a little more than one or two sprays per panel when wet.
