Thanks. I would assume the formula to achieve the API rating is consistent. And they just retest to new manufacturer specs as they come out.

I just picked up some PUP, and noticed the 5qt bottle has different manufacturers spec than the 1qt bottle. They both meet API SP but for example the 5qt meets ford's WSS-M2C961-A1, and the 1qt meets WSS-M2C946-A. Does this just depend on when the table was printed? I assume the formula is...

New here. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on an oil type/bread they recommend for Class A motorhomes? I plan on using synthetic, but not sure if there is a better brand given the load the engine is under, and the infrequent use in a motorhome. I'm also towing a jeep most of the time...
