With the advent of YouTube repair videos, I’ve really gotten into repairing neglected two-stroke equipment. Just gifted my little brother with a limbing saw, an Echo CS310 that I pieced together from two parts saws. Picked up a Stihl FS130r from a seller who was less than truthful. He fired the...
SIL does a lot of short-tripping. Distance between home and work is about 2 miles. That oil change schedule is what his mechanic friend recommended, and at $4 for 5 quarts, it will be no problem!

Like Super20dan, I used Mobil 1 2T until it wasn't available any more. I had a stash but finally ran out. I remember the red color. Maybe that's why I use Echo Red Armor today!
The Rancho shocks on my 2020 Silverado RST were crap and completely shot in less than 40k miles. Got Bilstein 4600s all the way around, and it's like driving a new truck. You don't realize how bad your old ones were until you're riding on Bilsteins!
I use Kawasaki semi-synthetic 20w-50 in my Bad Boy with FX691V. The Kawi oil supposedly has 1,200 ppm of zinc. I'll keep using it for sure until my warranty is up in another year. I live in Lower Alabama, so it is hot down heuh!
