I have to say a Synthetic v.s a Conventional at one third the price. I am pretty impressed with the Walmart/ Warren oil.
My Dad always told me use the cheapest two stroke oil out there because it will burn up and leave no residue.
Being a 14 year old at the time I listened to him and ran Kmart two stroke oil in my 1978 KX125. Nothing bad happened and it was alot cheaper to running a allowance than Belray MC1+...
I personally think you are overthinking the whole subject.
It's a gun made out of wood and steel. Oil isn't going to hurt the internals of the gun. Store it anyway, muzzle up, down or hanging on the wall. It's a gun and very durable under a variety of conditions.
I ve recovered many atv and dirt bike seats. You can buy the fabric and do it yourself. The precut seat covers on eBay are really easy to install. Lay then in the sun so they get hot and stretch them tight. It's not as bad as you think. Like I said I ve done lots now and they come out pretty...
I was attracted to Buffalo Bore due to they pack heavy bullets at a Hot load but for rifles. I really think there are so many boutique of handgun cartridges out there I just think there would be a lot better choices than Buffalo bore for what it would actually be used for. I wouldn't think you...
I think about any oil would work in there. The Best choice would be a 30HD oil such as Supertech. I've used 10w30/ 10w40/ 20/50/ 30HD and 15w40 truck oil with no problems.
You can buy a Quart of Marvel Mystery oil for $3.99 and a Quart of ATF ( Your choice) for $2.99, mix the two and get 64 ounces of gun lube for $6.98 which comes out to $.43 per 2 ounce bottles that is Red and works well in guns.
What I have been using for years.
I run 32:1 in everything. My first Craftsman weed eater lasted 25 years without a motor teardown and was still running when I threw it away, the shaft broke and my wife bought me a Echo.
I bought it when we first got married and so she knew how old it was. I have a bunch of two strokes, 32:1...
I used to have issues in my ATV carbs with the brass jets corroding and I d have to tear them down and clean them.
I treat my E10 gas with SeaFoam at 1 once to a gallon and all problems have ceased. I've left gas in equipment for over a year without issue. I will say on some of my small...
I've seen actual gun products mess with polymer too.
I've never had a issue with my garage chemicals.
Not that I d try Chemtool or Seafoam on the, well maybe Seafoam. I've been around guns over 35-40 years.
You get enough experience with using the chemicals in the garage to know yeah, this...
I've used Starting fluid to clean guns and it works well.
Flushed them out, removed carbon and dries fast.
Removed all the oil so gotta give em a squirt of Marvel Mystery Oil afterwards. Have to say it kinda kills me how everyone spends all this money in overpriced gun chemicals when so many...
I run 32:1 in all my two stroke equipment.
I never had a problem. Blowers, chainsaws, weedeaters, lawnboys etc. I have equipment can mixed at 32:1 and motorcycle can premix at 40:1.
My wife bought me a new Echo weed eater for Christmas two years ago, it called for 50:1. I was going to keep a...
