I'm from the school bus world. First and foremost parking brake every time, all the time. It quickly turns into a habit so one is less likely to forget when dealing with a high stress/distraction situation. Same with turn signals. Everything off when shutting down. On a bus the drivers would...

Customers unit had Hydro Gear pumps. Factory reseal kit was about $40.00.
Those aren't electric fans, they are fan blades mounted on the end of the hydraulic pump shaft to move air over the pumps. The shaft goes all the way through the pump and the belt drive pulley is mounted on the opposite...
Very nice unit. I had a customer in with one earlier this year for a leaking hydro pump and full service. The pump got a factory seal kit and it was a pleasure to test mow with it after all was done.
That little bit of advance shouldn't be the cause of not starting. Propane has a high octane rating but lower BTU content so the timing is likely advanced a bit to help reduce the power loss from the gaseous fuel. Maybe shut off the propane supply, and try starting it with a small gasoline prime.
I believe that Hydro Gear recommends a fluid change early 75-100 hrs initially and then to 400 hrs. Sometimes the hydros aren't exactly the same speed wise, small adjustments to the speed control linkage/ lever travel are necessary for the machine to track straight. I would look at this after an...
