Its done draining by then. Granted on that pan there's another drain plug in the front that's not in the sump that holds a quart but I rarely have time to drain that one. I change that oil so frequently that it's not too much of an issue I'd think... Maybe I'm wrong

I have the quick drain valve on oil pan and empty 5 gal bucket fits under it perfectly, I knock a hole in the bottom of the old filter with a punch and drain into a bucket so I can do a whole as s oil change in 15 minutes tops and not a drop will hit the ground-- it ain't a...

THanks for the reply. Yeah, I was surprised too. I don't know much about the base oil in this Delvac but the additive package seems comparable to Schaffer's--slightly less calcium in the Delvac I think 🤔
