funny you should mention that..i tend to run around town at 4/5th gear. i like to keep the rpms low. i try not to step on the pedal too hard though when accelerting from low speed. this is the way i drove my bmws. do i need to drive the speed around at 3000 rpm?

first oil change since taking delivery. about 3500 miles on the car, about 4 months old. suburban driving, moderately driven. replaced factory fill oil. HOW DO I ATTACH THE OIL REPORT PDF?????

i changed the break in oil at 3500 miles with 5/30 PP. Yes, i know that the break in oil is mostly garbage due to new engine. i smelled quite a bit of gas during the oil change. there was very minor consumption. where do i post this report?

after doing more reading on this site, i wonder if PP 5W-30 offers enough protection against heat in summer? thoughts?

i saw Penzoil platinum in walmart today, a gallon jug for 23. i didn't realize its synthetic. the speed 3 info says use engine oil with API SL or ILSAC GF-3 service grade or higher. the PP didn't reference these in the tech sheet.... thoughts? i see that PP is specified as OEM in the Acura...
