Looking for some input on a small Inverter - generator

I have three inverter generators... one of which is the EU2200i, which is by far the very best 2000 ish watt generator probably ever made. Your loads however, fit into the "it might do it" category. Let me explain. Undoubtedly you have plenty of power to run your window AC, your fridge is no...

    Buying a new String Trimmer

Not sure. I purchased it at Costco about two years ago for around $200. It’s not a bad unit just an awkward and bulky head that is slow to accelerate. Also to get it to feed line, you have to bash it crazy hard against the ground. It’s basically a very, very bad clone of the Echo Speed Feed...

    Buying a new String Trimmer

I have a Green Works 80V trimmer and really don't like it at all. It is heavy, cumbersome, and does not have a lot of power. I am thinking about giving it away to a neighbor as in F-R-E-E. I Know I saw on Project Farm, he tried a bunch of them and settled on Milwalkee being the best trimmer...

    Buying a new String Trimmer

Well that is two for Echo. How is the 4 Mix Stihl stuff? Obviously there are extra parts being it is essentially a four stroke with valves that is oiled like a two stroke simply by using mixed fuel.

    Buying a new String Trimmer

A few thousand square feet. Really not much, but I would rather buy a gas powered machine.

    Buying a new String Trimmer

I want to buy a new string trimmer and ultimately want some recommendations for what to get. I am in the buy once / cry once crowd, so let's make this a good one. I want a major brand like Sthil, Echo, Red Max, Husqvarna etc. In short, I am just a homeowner, but I want to buy a very high...

    Ceiling Repainting

I have a relatively new house, and the roof leaked causing a stain. I took care of that issue and now that 6 months have passed, and I am 100% sure that problem is resolved, I wish to fix the stain on my second-floor ceiling. Above that is attic. I replaced the insulation that was wet when it...

    Husqvarna 128ld trimmer repair

Makes sense. I couldn’t find a manual. Not wrong about being bitten on the ass. I mess things up too… all the time. Sometimes though I just look at things and cannot figure how someone messed it up. Heck I have even seen car accident videos where I am watching and my thought is “really”...

    Husqvarna 128ld trimmer repair

I have had success repairing a Honda EU2000 twice, and a Yamaha EU220iS (see this forum for details), and now a friend of mine asked me for help with his string trimmer a Husqvarna 128LD. It’s worth maybe $239 new, so not a valuable machine. Anyway the story goes that he replaced the gas tank...

    5W-30 instead of 10W-30

I am reading that it is probably mostly okay. Strange thing is when I read the owner's manual it says 10W-30 is preferred, but I presume they are referring to most folks using cheap conventional oil that may sheer down quickly not to mention many folks are NOT good about doing oil changes...

    5W-30 instead of 10W-30

What are your thoughts on me switching from 10W-30 Synthetic Havaoline and/or Mobil 1 To the same brands but 5W-30 in my small engines including: Honda EU2000i Honda EU2200i And Yamaha EF2200iS The reason I am asking is that I have less than a quart of 10W-30, but because I no longer have a...

Yamaha 2200 Generator EZ Access Pilot Jet

I bought mine at $560 direct from Yamaha delivered, and no Sales Tax a few months ago. Anyway the net I bought was from Yamaha Parts Babbit’s. It’s super cheap at just over $8 and clearly has larger holes that the one that came in it. Super easy change (once you have the carb out).

Yamaha 2200 Generator EZ Access Pilot Jet

lol. I was right there with you but solving a misfire. Whatever you do, do NOT do what I did and try double nutting the carburetor studs to remove them… then strip both nuts and one stud. I replaced the parts I broke wirh new genuine ones, and the nuts thread easily by finger now again! What...
