    Leaking coolant from unknown fitting/grommet

I appreciate it guys. I went to AutoZone and bought a bypass kit for the heater core and that seems to have done the job for now at least until it gets below freezing like it does in Antarctica here in Alabama lol.

    Leaking coolant from unknown fitting/grommet

It’s definitely coolant because I had almost none left in the radiator or the holding tank and both were full two days before.

    Leaking coolant from unknown fitting/grommet

I have no idea. I can’t find anything on the engine side of that piece that looks like it connected or went to anything.

2002 Ford Ranger 3.0L 113k On my way to Lowe’s this morning to buy a new fridge I noticed what looked like smoke coming from the passenger side of the truck from under the hood. I pulled over and instantly smelled the sweet aroma of coolant and noticed it was coming out of what looks like a...

    JD D140 carb issues again

593197 is what’s stamped on the carb for the part number. I’ve seen the part number you’ve listed and I think it’s a replacement or updated version.

    Random no start issues

@Dave9 No aftermarket security/starter. I did check for the blinking anti theft light and it still only blinked at the normal interval no rapidness to it. The truck has started perfectly fine everytime today after swapping with my wife’s key. Hopefully it was just a matter of key. Edit: my key...

    Random no start issues

Update: I took my wife’s spare key for my truck and have used it all day long with no issues. Truck has started perfectly fine and ran fine everytime. I’m hoping it was a simple matter of my key/chip being bad or on its way out.
