I’m looking at the R&T for the wife’s Jeep GC which has Pirelli highway tires on it now. The R&T’s are XL tires which are probably a little bit heavier along with the aggressive tread. What loss of MPG is she looking at? 1 or 2?

These were my thoughts exactly. 0w-30 is what I decided on and will stick with.

That was my experience, it went up a max of 5 degrees. The average was less than that.

I try to buy American when I can and when it’s quality. As far as oil filters go the only brand I’ve ever had actually fail (not just a small media tear) was Fram extra guard. I’m sold on PG filters. The Vietnam made ones seem to be far better than the China made as far as quality control goes...

I agree! I couldn’t find it anywhere in those videos where he mentions the maintenance in it. So I cant take it seriously to begin with. They’ve made 14 million of these engines, so even a small number of failures would seem like a lot in my opinion. I’ve seen too many with high mileage running...

I agree, it’s done purpose lol The 3.6 before it got its “upgrade” was listed as 6 quarts then changed it. My OCD could never list it at 5.9! 😂

The Buick takes 4.5 quarts, I don’t mind saving the half quart. Her Jeep GC on the other hand takes 5.9 quarts, I’m not measuring out .1 quarts. It gets all 6 😂
