I know in the Toyota world there's a lot of counterfeit products on Amazon. If I was to buy a couple of Premium Guard PG4612EX filters from the Premium Guard Amazon store any worries? Or is there a better place to buy them?
Thanks all!
I usually run a Fumoto valve on everything but I didn't like the adapter configuration. Saw a lot of recommendations for magnetic plugs and good filters on the new Honda. I like not having to worry about it coming loose, plus I usually only do 1 or 2 oil changes a year so it's not really an...
Safety wired my Votex magnetic drain plug on my new 26' Honda Passport. I figured why not? Just drilled a 1/8" hole in the skid plate and called it a day.
Well I only made it until 863 miles and had to change it. Valvoline Restore and Protect 0W-20 / MicroGard Select filter and a Votex magnetic drain plug. I'll do it again at 5K and every 5K from there on out.
I usually do one at 1k and then 5k. Then every 5k after that. I always know when I'm due and I usually only do about 7500 miles a year (ish).
And I just found the Honda filter thread, my apologies if the mod's want to lock this thread I'm good.
Ok go easy on me, it's been a decade since I've been in a Honda. I brought home a new Passport black Friday, has the J35Y8 and I grabbed a couple oil filters from the dealer while I was there. Now surfing the forums I'm getting the impression that the blue Honda filters aren't what they used...
Finally put a battery in the daughters 2018.5 Nissan Rogue, along with air filter / cabin air filter / Techron / washer fluid etc. Can't remember when she last had the oil changed but wouldn't let me do it as she was on a time constraint. Compromised and used my extractor and pulled as much...
I just brought home a new Passport and was just thinking the same thing. Should I change at 1k? I think I will and probably use 0W-20 Restore and Protect, just because that's what I have sitting on my shelf. Here in the PNW we don't see too much freezing weather and my rig is garaged at home...
Wrong application for the product. Most of the coatings work fine on side and back windows but fail pretty early on the windshield. I either use Rain-X or one of the glass cleaners that have it built in. I've tried Cerakote and Aquapel but I always just come back to good old rain-X, super...
I always see these reels or videos where guys are stripping Romex with attachments for their drill and it looks pretty slick. I see a bunch of sets on Amazon but don't know if they're garbage or not. Usually I'd check out Project Farm to see if any had decent reviews but see handheld (which I...
