    2020 Frontier - Tires again

No. And the OP is not using LT rated tires. He's just saying his warranty was denied because "light trucks" are not covered. His truck is not a "light truck" though... the dealer or tire manufacturer is simply trying to rip him off.

Winter Tires for Severe Winter - Michelin X-Ice not Cutting it

Rubber wasn't hard, and no cracking. There's not much sunlight from November-March. Then they were usually stored in my basement over the summer. I did replace those 11 year old WS-80's with DM-V2's earlier this summer though. That's what got me thinking about new truck tires. It was the...

Winter Tires for Severe Winter - Michelin X-Ice not Cutting it

I would try the new Blizzak IcePeak, hands down. Newest design and thickest tread last I looked. I firmly believe they are all good options. But the VC8 doesn't look like a truck tire to me. I had a bad experience with X-ice in 2019. Nokians are a lot more expensive in my area. General...

Does anyone buy from Tire Rack anymore? It doesn't seem worth it......

I saved approximately $240 last week buying LT tires from my local tire chain. Plus they match prices so either way they win over an online source. TR might still be better on tire/wheel combos.

    Tire Weight vs Rolling Resistance

I tried a set of set of LRE Pinza's earlier this year. And they exceeded my expectations. But they were noticeably stiffer than my previous highway P rated tires (duh). And I would have lost maybe 1.5mpg if I didn't pay attention... driving slower and coasting up to stops gained most of...

    Tire Weight vs Rolling Resistance

Putting a few more psi in the higher RR tire will get a lot more than the 1% back.

    DM-V2 vs IcePeak tires

WS90's have been discontinued and were not available in my truck's size. I think I'll pass on the DM-V2 sale and wait for more IcePeak reviews.

    DM-V2 vs IcePeak tires

Michelin has a new one out this year too but I believe the Michelin's cost more so they are not on my list. I tried their 2019 version (xi2?) in-between DMV2's and that only lasted 1 day.

    DM-V2 vs IcePeak tires

I'm in Michigan and I'm looking at new winter tires for my 1/2 ton truck. What would you guys do... $705 for Blizzak DMV2 tires or $900 for the new IcePeak model? My last set was DMV2 and they lasted me 7 years. No complaints about their performance.
