Mobil 1 at 30u and CQP at 20u . I do goes with Carquest.

Return it, try different autozone until you get one with plastic wrap or just get Carquest

Did I miss something ? Mobil 1 is same as Carquest ? What

Whenever a brake jobs, this is come in mind.

I was about make the same topic, today while visit summit racing in Arlington Tx. Was going to said its feel and look exactly like PG ( Autozone STP XL ), but its not the same rating 98% at 25.

For the real world, how much is really different between 99% @ 20u VS 99% @ 30u . Should I loose sleep over it ? I keep told myself I won’t go down to this rabbit holes , but here I am asking question..

for a name brand ( not inhouse brand ) nothing beat quaker state.

Also the old alternator was motorcraft , for $10 buck core , I rather keep the old motorcraft part lol

Replace a new Carquest alternator , after turn on its run at 14.95 to 15.00V , after let it run its steady at 14.50v. This is my second Carquest alternator, very good. Even rev it up 2k , no light on and my volt meter still show at 14.50V .

I dont know why Autozone STP XL line doesn't come up often, when its all basically the same or better then Oreilly Microguard select.

When the car idle its 14v, when it at 2k RPM its 18v.

I got autozone check battery and alternator. He said it good. He said Check connection
