I just purchased a 2000 Camry (5SFE) with 94,000mi on it. Because that car is somewhat of a known sludger, this weekened I plan to do an oil change with the PYB (5W-30). I figure I will keep it in for 3,000 and do a UOA on it. Several guys here suggested PYB to me.

Thanks for all the replies. I stopped and grabbed some Pennzoil YB and a Purolator today.

I know this topic has been gone over before on this forum more than a few times, and after lurking here for quite some time and "doing my research", my head is now spinning from all the different routes to go. I'm still looking to settle on a solid oil/filter combo for a Camry I just picked up...

Shell Rotella T6- There are a few UOAs on other turbo'ed subes on this forum... all of them looking REAL GOOD on the stuff... even considering the cars' reported tendency to shear oil in no-time. I was very impressed with what I researched.
