I wouldn't give oil choice for this application any more than about 5 seconds of thought. I would put in Chevron Delo or one of the equivalents such as Rotella T or Delvac and never look back.

My wife bought a Mini in the early 2005 model year. It has seen nothing but Mobil One full synthetic with change intervals between 7,500 and 10,000 miles. The car now has 151,000 miles and runs great with no need to add oil between changes.
