    First oil filter you bought?

Hastings was the popular brand at our parts store back then along with Valvoline oil.

    Generator - Gas or Not

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UvS_D4_lF5U This guy says fuel stabilizer doesn't help ethanol. I run my small engines empty and it has helped to keep the carb jets from getting varnish in them. I like the propane idea because propane last forever.

Another reminder why I always change my own oil

Another vote for a screwdriver hammered all the way through and clean up the mess.

Brand loyalty is a weird thing

I've been a Supertech guy for a long time. I bought a 2016 F150 Lariat with a 3.5 ecoboost in July. Dealer changed the oil when I got it and put on the sticker for a oci at 7500 miles. I changed it at 5000 miles and put in PP with a Fram Ultra. I'm second guessing myself thinking I should of...

    can't patch a plugged tire?

I've plugged several tires and even seen a guy take a drill bit and waller the hole to get the plug to go in and it worked. If you have implement tires and 4 wheelers you diffidently need to plug.

    Tire Plug Durability

Like others have stated I've had plugs last the life of the tire. You read up on tire plugging and you will see that it is not recommended but I've never ruined a tire and have plugged around 25 tires. Like tinkering on cars? Start young.

Watch DIY YouTube videos. I can watch 2 or 3 videos on how to do something and learn more than any Chilton or Haines book I have. For the price the maintenance shops get these days you can buy the tools and do it yourself and still come out ahead. Buddy of mine just spent $900 on a brake booster...

    200,000 First Transmission Fluid Change

I have a friend that has a Dodge minivan that has 200,000 miles on it without a trans fluid change. He took it to a shop today and they said they wouldn't touch it with that many miles on it. What's everybody's opinion, just keep driving it or find a shop that will change it? Thanks
