My Amsoil dual stage setup is mounted vertically-it doesn't seem to matter I still get the ticking sound when I start it.

Can someone give me the lowdown on syntheic gear lube?Am I to believe that the 267 is better than Amsoil? I saw the way it seems to climb better.I plan to replace the lube on my 4x4 with synthetic soon.
