There are 2 different types of NAPA's.
One is a franchise and the other is company owned.
For the most part, the company owned are better run/stocked----

Clearly shows that 5W-30 and 10W-30 is to be used for the full range of air temps, and SJ spec is called out. The only other oil ok'd is straight 30W.
No other...
Oh-Maybe keeping the maker's warranty comes to mind with using the 'correct' oil.
Know what you say about easy pull start in cold weather. Born and raised, in Colorado.

Just because Exxon sez somedangthing, don't make it so. Correct?
To maintain the Honda warranty. I will follow Honda's published instruction/guidelines.

Read the manual
SJ spec oil is called out by Honda.

For another 10 cents a gallon. Run prem.
Also, prem has less Ethanol in the fuel.
Prem is also a better choice for any air cooled engine.
Your choice-Do as you wish.

Did you read the owners manual where it sez to use 5W-30 or 10W-30 oil?
I use 5W-30 in my Honda gennys. No noise at all and I run mine in 110* heat all day long.
Change the oil............
Run prem fuel.
