Thanks, that was my initial plan unless I heard any flack.

This car won't see alot of mileage. So far, in 3 months we're almost at 1K miles.

MB 229.52 which would be the 5w-30. I could also run 5w-40 under 229.51 or 0w-20 under 229.71 but want to run the 5w-30.

I'm looking for a motor oil to start using in my 2021 Mercedes C300. I'm looking at M1 ESP and Penzoil Platinum euro formula. They both meet Mercedes requirements. I'd be getting 5w-30. M1 is about twice the price? Aren't they equivalent quality oils? Thanks

VR1 10W-30 Dino. It's probably not seeing many miles and dump it out end of season. Diesel oil has cut back on zinc.

I thought I was going to get hard pressured to buy the extras. Guy went thru the routine, tire & wheel package, prepaid maintenance, over warranty insurance etc. Told him no thanks to everything, he took it in stride.

Bingo.

The Chip shortage is making buying a new car difficult or darn near impossible. We bought one late August and selection was very limited. Glad we did it then cause we didn't want to get a 2022.

Hi all, we bought a 2021 Mercedes C300 (4 cylinder turbo) late August this year. 1st "scheduled" maintenance is 1 year or 10K. We'll never have this much mileage on it in a year, probably 6-7K max. With new cars, I've always done an early 1st change and was thinking of doing one at 1K miles...
