Go buy yourself a Stihl 170. I have had a few different saws and let me tell ya, just buy a Stihl and be done with it. For under 200 bucks you can buy a saw and a spare chain. This saw will last you for many years. I have a couple 170's and a couple 017's (which are the same saw, just older)...
Since iam a Bitog guy I have to change the lube in my new used mazda 626 transaxle. The owners manual says it takes gl4 or gl5 80/90 weight. Im not too familiar with transaxles but in my trucks i always used a quality gear oil with limited slip additives. Do i have to use a gear oil with limited...
I have a Mazda 626 with the 2.0 engine. Since i have like 20 gallons of the stuff, im wondering if straight 30 wt would be ok to run, even now in the winter?

Checked the oil level today and at around 1700 miles on the clean phase the oil is nearly black. I can barely see through the oil to read the markings on the dipstick. Looks like Auto RX is doing its job.

No issues with the vehicle. Just curious to see how much carbon gets liquified and ends up in the filter. Hoping to get a little more top end power after a rinse cycle.
At 142,xxx miles i decided to put in Auto-Rx and see if i could gain any improvements. I have owned the truck for 14 years and i had run 5 or 10/30 dino oil of various brands and changed at 4k intervals. After finding Bitog i bought a bunch of Havoline and Maxlife syn in 5 and 10/30 on closeout...
