    Thoughts on McCulloch Chainsaws?

Go buy yourself a Stihl 170. I have had a few different saws and let me tell ya, just buy a Stihl and be done with it. For under 200 bucks you can buy a saw and a spare chain. This saw will last you for many years. I have a couple 170's and a couple 017's (which are the same saw, just older)...

    1997 mazda 626 5 speed

Since iam a Bitog guy I have to change the lube in my new used mazda 626 transaxle. The owners manual says it takes gl4 or gl5 80/90 weight. Im not too familiar with transaxles but in my trucks i always used a quality gear oil with limited slip additives. Do i have to use a gear oil with limited...

    Auto-Rx in 1991 GMC 1500 pickup

Changed the oil at 2500 miles on the clean phase. Oil was dark, more so than what it usually is at 2.5k, nearly black so something must have been cleaned up. No sludge or sediment came out of the oilpan. Post-mortem on the oil filter; no sediment, sludge, particles or bits in the bottom of the...

    Auto-Rx in 1991 GMC 1500 pickup

Checked the oil level today and at around 1700 miles on the clean phase the oil is nearly black. I can barely see through the oil to read the markings on the dipstick. Looks like Auto RX is doing its job.

    Best Engine for a 5 - 7KW Generator.

Honda is my #1 choice where as Robin/Subaru is my second. I have a gen with a 7.5 hp subaru and it is a real runner. Most generators i see have a plastic tank which tend to collect moisture which turns to water in the bottom of your tank. Heet and sta-bil help with the water issue but i finally...

    Auto-Rx in 1991 GMC 1500 pickup

No issues with the vehicle. Just curious to see how much carbon gets liquified and ends up in the filter. Hoping to get a little more top end power after a rinse cycle.

    Auto-Rx in 1991 GMC 1500 pickup

At 142,xxx miles i decided to put in Auto-Rx and see if i could gain any improvements. I have owned the truck for 14 years and i had run 5 or 10/30 dino oil of various brands and changed at 4k intervals. After finding Bitog i bought a bunch of Havoline and Maxlife syn in 5 and 10/30 on closeout...
