    2023 Mazda CX5 drain/fill mileage question

Ok. Thanks so much. I was not looking forward to that RTV scraping. Think I will just do the fluid change this time as recommended. Nice having a drain plug because on a 2005 Ford Focus you don't have the option. I truly appreciate everyone's insights, experience, and the knowledge shared.

    2023 Mazda CX5 drain/fill mileage question

Sounds good. Moving forward on it. Attempting to decide if I should do filter as well. A bit more painful, but not impossible.

    2023 Mazda CX5 drain/fill mileage question

Hello: I have a 2023 Mazda CX-5 with about 33,000 miles on it. Is it time to do a drain/fill filter change on the transmission? The fluid still has a sweet smell to it. What is the recommendations on this type of unit to do a drain/fill/filter change for longevity? Is it overkill at this stage?

2005 Ford Focus Rear Defroster and AC button are inoperable when cold

During the winter months.... 2005 Ford Focus Rear Defroster and AC button will not work unless car is warmed up by the heater. Are there any items I can do to troubleshoot this or fix it? They work fine once the car is warmed up by the heater or during the warmer months. Seems like it would...

    2009 Mazda 5 Bearing Issue?

Got around to changing the other rear bearing and the one that I thought was good was bad as well. I wanted to follow up and thank everyone who posted here to help me out. The issue is resolved! Thanks again.

    2009 Mazda 5 Bearing Issue?

My 2009 Mazda 5 (154k miles) had a bad passenger rear bearing, causing a mud-tire sound. Replaced it, but the sound's still there, maybe slightly better, but sound is still there 60-70 mph especially under acceleration. Driver's side rear bearing has no wobble or noticeable noise when spun...

2009 Mazda 5 Would Turn, but not Start

Yea the suspension gets beat up on these. I think is because it shares suspension parts with the 3, which is a much smaller vehicle and the low profile tires definitely do not help. Agree with the tires. Those 17" are lowprofile. I've been thinking about putting the 16" rim/tire s ize that...

2009 Mazda 5 Would Turn, but not Start

My ford focus had a throttle body flap that was sticking. Most likely dirty in there. Very good suggestion. Thank you! Drove car 15+ miles today with 60+ minute break between. No issues thus far. Will keep it near to home in the case she acts up, but running well.

2009 Mazda 5 Would Turn, but not Start

Decided to drive my trusty 2009 Mazda 5 this morning and the car would not start. It would turn, but would not start. I then decided to spray some ether into it since I was out of options. It sputtered, but cranked right up. I then proceeded to drive it around with no issues and it ran...
