    Street Triple oil mix

The 300V was 60$CAD for 4L when I was at the shop for a filter so might as well buy it there. I was using Mobil 1 mx4t before, as recommended by the manual, and that one was hard to find and is sold 16-17$/L. This link seems to suggest Motul says the 300v is for shorter change intervals...

    Street Triple oil mix

I use it for commuting every day, a lot of stop and go. The oil has darkened and it seems like the level has dropped (more than it has ever dropped before). I tend to change it on about a yearly basis and I don't do more than 2000km/yr really. Also, isn't the 300v made to be changed more often?

    Street Triple oil mix

Hi, My bike is due for an oil change but it seems good oil is hard to find at a decent price around here. I have been running Motul 300V for over a year now, about 2000-3000km. I have about 1.3L of Motul 300V 10w40 left from last time, along with an older 1L Mobil 1 mx4t 10w40. The 300V is out...

Street Triple: Finding oil in Quebec/Canada

I found the Rotella T6 online and it's about half the price compared to Mobil 1 MX4T. Wondering if it's worth saving that 35$ or if the bike will run better on the oil recommended in the user manual.

Possibly, but I haven't seen this oil in any big retailers. It's not at Walmart, not at Canadian Tire either.

Anyone know if the MX4T to Racing 4T name transition also included some modification to the product itself? I don't find Racing 4T other than at the overpriced triumph dealer. Btw, Walmart is where I payed 16$/L for MX4T.

Street Triple: Finding oil in Quebec/Canada

I'm having a hard time finding a good deal for motorcycle oil up here. I have a Triumph Street triple, the user manual says I should put 10w40 or 15w50 semi or full synthetic oil in it. I found some Motul semi-synthetic 10w40 at the motorcycle store, priced 14$/L. The triumph dealer has the...
