    The return of Havoline

In upstate South Carolia Hav o lean is still very easy to find. I still miss the Texaxo brand. My first part-time job in 1972 was at a Texaco station in my home town of Honea Path, SC. I just looked at the bottles of 10 w 30 that I bought yesterday, noticed the Chevron emblem on the bottle.

I used my OLM for the first time

My wife has a 2006 Chevrolet Impala V-6. I have always used Pennzoil YB 5-W-30, changing at 4000 miles. This time I decided to use the Oil Life Monitor. She got 7000 miles on the oil and the monitor said 21% oil life remaining. I couldn't stand it any longer so I changed the oil. Now I'm...

Oil and Filter for 2005 Altima 3.5 SE

I also live in upstate South Carolina and my daughter has the same vehicle as you. I am using a Wix 51356 filter and Pennzoil YB, seems to be doing a good job. I also have a question for you. The manual says it takes 4.5 quarts of oil to fill. Over on the oil filter page I asked a question about...

Oil Filter for a 05 Nissan Altima

I guess my question is, Can I use either the short or the taller version, will either one be OK? Do I still use 4.5 quarts with either filter.

Oil Filter for a 05 Nissan Altima

I have a 2005 Nissan Altima- 3.5. I'm confused about the filter. Wix part # is 51365, Purolator says either 14610 or 14612 and Fram is 7317. The Wix filter is much shorter than the others. Which should I use. Thanks

    Peak Oil

Went to town today and as I went by O'Reily's I glanced at their advertisement on the front window, I noticed an ad for Peak Oil. Is this something new or has O'Reily's just started carrying it. Any opinions.

    Shell Service Station

I can change my oil for less than $15.00-5 quart jug of Motorcraft at Wal-Mart and a Mororcraft Oil Filter. That's a $20.00 difference. It's worth it to me, in addition to the 3 reasons that XS650 gave.

    Oil capacity Mazda Tribute

I have a 2002 Mazda Tribute LX with a 3.0 engine-2 wheel drive. What is the oil capacity. It has 76,000 miles. What would be a good oil to use.
