Those wear metals are out of control. The only thing to do is use some gear oil on the next change. I think that will get the wear numbers back in check

I believe that would be the Harvest King full synthetic. I just couldn't stomach using such an oil.

I'd go with Amsoil 0w-30 if available. I believe the 40 grade is much to viscous.

I'd go with the 5w-30

I would guess that the HTHS viscosity of the oil in service and the type of engine would be the biggest variables.

Why would there be dirt in the housing? That's like saying what prevents dirt from getting in the transmission. I have a 2016 Grand Cherokee and Jeep Sahara they both use the filter cartridge and they're by far the easiest oil changes i've ever done.

It has the stock 3.21 gears.
