I honestly don't expect a UOA to tell me much but, after seeing what is in the two filters I've pulled off this car it would seem negligent to me not to have an oil analysis done. Regardless of what the UOA says I will continue to inspect every filter. Might even pull filters and inspect halfway...

Yes. Both filters I've changed on this car have looked like that. Will change again @ 40K and send a sample to the lab.
