    Thank you very much for the valuable information and suggestions. It's truly sad that we cannot simply rely on filter manufacturers (I'm talking to you, FRAM) when they claim their filters (eg PH7317) are suitable for certain cars (Subaru's) when in fact those filters do not meet OEM specs.
