    Val Maxlife and oil leaks

Every single vehicle I own has developed some kind of oil leak. One of the benefits supposedly these HIGH MILEAGE oils have is to help STOP leaks and or prevent leaks. Anyone else ? Thoughts ? I am about to swap back to normal oil. I wonder if maybe I did more harm then good to the seals with...

    Dex-Cool clones

I sure would like to see the receipts proving the manufacturer of DEXCOOL paid for any repair. Been a lot of people with 3.1 GMs having problems blaming DEXCOOL and guess what it turned out to be the gaskets and some pooor machine work. I'll bet you a hundred it is the same with the Cummins...

    Should I go K&N?

I do NOT believe we were discussing OFFRAOD conditions, were we ?

    Should I go K&N?

Actually the original poster did NOT ask anything about the which filters the best. K&N saves you money over time and I haven't had one problem oiling mine over the years. It isn't rocket science. Cleaning can be as much as 50,000 mile intervals for some and takes only minutes with a hose...

    Should I go K&N?

Someone have high silicon that was running a K & N ? I'D LIKE TO SEE THAT. IF YOU STAY PAPER YOU WILL SPEND more money not less. What 13 dollars you referring to ? You guys do kill me.

    Quaker State Fully Synthetic ATF

I would imagine the cleaning product you used was the difference maker not the type of fluid used.

    Should I go K&N?

Ding, Ding, Ding. We have a winner. Someone with what has to be considered longevity as far as a TEST. I have more miles total than this guy on multiple vehicles with K & N filters. They may help economy and power but they definetly save you money. Those people seeing buildup behind the...

    My Observation of K&N filters

    Paper is cheaper, that's why.

    My Observation of K&N filters

Those filter wraps are for OFFROAD use. The wrap will help with this because unlike a paper filter filter sitting inside a nice comfy factory airbox we are talking about a cone type filter sitting out all by itself, not surrounded by an airbox.

    My Observation of K&N filters

All four of mine have had K&N in them for years. No MAF problems or any other problems and I am talking about over 200,000 miles total. I believe I paid about 35.00 for the one in the van once versus 22.00 or whatever you guys like to pay each time you replace yours.

How often to change halogen headlight bulbs?

There is something going on there and it's not the brand of headlight your using.

    Missouri Dex-Cool Lawsuit

Havoline DC is in all four of my vehicles. 2000 Dodge with 150k, 86 Chevy with 218k, 95 Chevy with 63k and a 89 Pontiac with 9k. Not one single issue related to DEXCOOL. Bad gaskets happen, irregular casting causing leaks happens and lack of maintenance happens. To sum it up, CHIT happens...

    Missouri Dex-Cool Lawsuit

Nothing wrong with DEXCOOL. People thinks it will last forever and thats when it becomes a problem period.

    My Observation of K&N filters

Because a K&N flows better which will improve performance and mileage. No I am not saying by a lot but common sense applies here too. They also pay for themselves easily over time. How much is one of these AMSOIL filters ? Anything with that name on it will be overpriced. People seeing anything...
