I searched PG part numbers that only had a basic filter mapped to a vehicle or filter cross on the PG website, and there are XC placeholders. I would assume that PG plans on expanding their catalog since they're making premium filters for the U.S. part houses.
They may not sell enough to warrant paying for the API donut license even if it meets a certain standard. You can always contact Mobil and ask.

I just get the cheap fiberglass ones and change every 30 days. There are systems like from AprilAire you can have installed that'll provide more filtration without restricting the blower motor due to the larger filter area. Talk to your local HVAC people for options.

Dealerships know that they are competing with the parts houses on common stuff like filters and batteries, so go with them if they're the cheapest. All batteries sold in the U.S. are only made by a handful of manufacturers anyways.
