Will the bottle say it is licensed? Like the AAP stuff or walmart?

I would think switching to a thicker grade can help the problem. As far as changes the oil seems to not need a change but the filter does. I wouldnt exceed 7.5K. JMO

So is all ATF 4 the same or not? I'm a bit confused over what is being said hear. I thought ATF 4 was a licensed formula from the automaker. So all formulas are made from the same sources just repackaged. But now I'm unsure do to the huge price differences on the shelf.

It's a grand Cherokee. An 05 with the 545rfe.

Is there any difference between ATF 4 brands other than price? Do they all use the same formula per chrystler? Dealer is the most expensive then castrol and valvoline at around 6. Then aap has their label at just over 2. Walmarts brand also carries it but unsure of price. I can really save...

As a side note I own a newer 5.7 HEMI. I know all to well of a tick! Been told it completely normal in my engine and I seen a lot that have the TICK.

You don't think a problem could be caused by mixing the amsoil with the other fluid? How much do you guys think is fair for a flush at a dealer or trans shop? Looking at ATF 4 fluid today it's about 6 a quart. I would need 14.5 to do my jeep with a flush. Which I still not sure if I would or...

I have 38k on my jeep that's 4 years old. Within the next month or two I plan on servicing the trans even though it's said to be good for 60k minimum. It uses ATF 4. My questioning is do I just drop the pan myself and get new filters. Or do I spend a bit more and get a flush at a trans shop...

I just into the habit of the local lube place doing it for me. Like i said i just did it myself the other day and plan to do all my changes myself from now on. Dually how much consumption are you getting?

I did it myself yesterday but used RP cause I had some older bottles I was able to exchange for 5-20. Next change at 6k and monitored at 2k intervals will be back to PP cause RP is to much freaking money. Plus will do a UOA. Demar you scare me put your right. And dealers scare the shot out...
