    Thoughts on these "resurfaced" Rotors

I would have done that but rotors were pretty glazed and had started to shimmy slightly. Should have just ordered new ones before I started on job I am getting some pulsating now under heavy braking. Think the poor finish might be causing this?

    Thoughts on these "resurfaced" Rotors

Needed new front brake pads on my tundra. Should have just bought new rotors also, but decided to try and just have them resurfaced. Oreillys said they could do it. When I went to pick up the rotors, this is what received with the explanation the outer edge was too thin to turn. Would...

    Porche Cayenne Coolant leak

You weren’t kidding ! That didn’t make it very long. Looks like it’s leaking again, leaving small puddles in driveway and looks wet below pump . Can’t see anything else that would be leaking . Have 109k it now , so this WP lasted less than 20k miles

    Porsche/VW 3.6L having issues

Thanks for the help and suggestions. I didn't realize that even though this porsche has a VW 3.6, that the intake is different on the Porsche. SO it takes even more work to get to the PCV, since the entire intake has to come off. Thanks to RooflessVW again for pointing me in right direction...

    Porsche/VW 3.6L having issues

I ordered parts and plan to swap to an external pcv setup. Seems like a much easier route than taking intake apart. Will keep you posted but thanks again for the help!

    Porsche Cayenne - Rear BCM

so just got off phone with Autel and they are telling me that I can't code the BCM with their tool. They said I would need OE porsche software on a laptop and a Jbox J2543

    Porsche Cayenne - Rear BCM

The coding process I used was for the autel to read current module and save that coding- then swap the modules- it then writes the copied coding To the new module - I also tried to use the online coding offered through Autel , which I guess just codes based on the vin but couldn’t ever get...

    Porsche Cayenne - Rear BCM

i put the old BCM back in and all the "weird" issues have stopped. Just back to the original issue of the drivers side tail lights not working. So it appears to me, there is a problem with the coding of the new BCM- I have tried to re-code it several times now. Have a call in to autel to...
