I've seen a few posts online with people adding zerk fittings. I was able to get 00 grease from Napa (in GTA)
I sold my Craftsman and picked up an Ariens 926LE from 2003. It's a tank and better designed for maintenence.
It's used to avoid dry startups since the OEM filter doesn't have an anti drain back valve and after 30 mins most of the oil drains back into the sump. With this adapter there is oil still in the filter and the adapter has a check valve preventing the filter from becoming dry.
I hate when it takes that much effort to remove an oil filter. $20 is a cheap price for an oil change, but I'd spend double that to DIY. Too many hacks out there to cause more damage and deny it. I can't put a price on peace of mind.
I see your OCD got the best of you..... I've got fumoto's on two of my vehicles and I didn't use a torque wrench when I installed them more than 10 years ago.

Check all the connections on the suspension. I was having a terrible clunking noise on my dodge caravan when i was going over some bad roads. I thought it was stabilizer bar being loose. Ended up being a loose nut on one of the stabilizer bar end links.
If you lookup Florida real estate on YouTube, you'll find so many videos of insurance costs becoming too expensive with large deductibles (20k-25k). Many insurance companies pulling out of Florida. I wouldn't move there even if the house was free.
