    Fuel injection hose question

Is it ok to use worm drive clamps on this type of hose? As far as the material goes, It has to be one of the toughest hoses with probably the highest burst pressure rating on most cars, but I am concerned about the teeth cutting into the hose overlap on the metal nipple causing a leak. Is it...

Any of you ever lose the "love" for your hobby?

OHV 3800 Iron Duke is the best all round domestic V-6 ever. Series III was the best I understand.

Any of you ever lose the "love" for your hobby?

I think the pandemic shifted my priorities. There were times about 5-6 years ago when I would wake up in the middle of the night to put my car on jackstands to make an adjustment on something because I had the energy. Now not so much. The prices of parts have doubled in some cases, so I just do...

    WD-40 specialist

Yeah, I had a small can of de-ox-ID in the maroon spray can from 10 years ago and it worked good but left that oily residue which isn't ideal under the hood, and the can finally developed a microscopic leak that escaped all the propellant with product still left inside. Maybe the updated version...

    Aftermarket Radios

If you want to keep your "factory" look but get a head unit with some more features, AND if you can find them in good condition, I would lean toward the Blaupunkt units from around the mid 90's. The Codem III tuner pulled in FM radio stations sometimes from over 100 miles away. I kid you not...

Has anyone ever used this with any success on engine bay electrical plugs or even interior electrical connectors? Just wondering if it compares favorably to the CRC cleaner on the parts store shelves. Thanks

    Molybdenum Disulfide powder.

Thanks to you people for all the informative replies. After reading, it seems to be a waste of time and effort. I decided to get the LM motor oil saver instead of the Ceratec or the powder idea after watching decent results on a Project Farm video on YT. Mild oil burning is the core issue...

    Molybdenum Disulfide powder.

Particle size < 1.5 microns should make it through most filters, wouldn't it?

    Molybdenum Disulfide powder.

Yes. The dry reagent grade 99.9% purity powder

    Molybdenum Disulfide powder.

Not sure if it's advisable, but could I add the industrial grade solid powder directly to my motor oil on the next oil change interval.

This guy says pre-mix is a scam.

...Because you can never be sure if the engine could get infected with viruses and bacteria....

    HM Dexron III fluid

Hmmm... You guys might have a better idea. I might just return those regular ATFs and buy the synthetic Valvoline instead.

    HM Dexron III fluid

@SubieRubyRoo .... Yeah, not really sure what happened. Seems to be a website error on that quote. I understand your point, but I shop very aggressively. Here's what I paid: Fram® single quart Multi Dex/Merc fluid x 2: $12.10 (incl. tax & shipped from Wal-Mart.com) Lube Gard® 4 fl.oz...
