    Valvoline Restore & Protect

It's the same youtuber who's video someone posted in this thread that may show varnish cleaning and that was also a video of a video of a borescope. But you're right it may not be foam but maybe frog eggs. Who's to say what's going on as very few people scope up through the drain hole. Maybe...

    Valvoline Restore & Protect

The guy scoped the drain hole after an oil change and saw some foam clinging to the insides. Edited: added "the"

Kirkland FS High Mileage is here!

I saw some at ours on 3/12 and forgot to post. That tag says go to their website for more selection but the high mileage isn't for sale online as of today.

Unwilling to accept the data, staying with 2-3k oil changes

There's something to short OCIs if Subaru, who has consistently had mediocre fuel economy and what that means with it's CAFE, has 3,000 mile OCIs for severe driving.

    Costco drop Mobil 1?

Funny, the app shows $83.91, sold/shipped by Walmart. Sneaky bastards.

    Costco drop Mobil 1?

Maybe it's regional, for me Walmart online brings up $43.48 on sale vs Costco $31.49 on sale for 6 qts 5W-30 AFS. The 5 qt jug is $27.97

    2008 Toyota Corolla 1.8L on Mobil 1

There's a guy on Youtube, DIY Dave, who's been chasing oil consumption for 4 years in his 170k-ish Corolla with a 1ZZ-FE. Interestingly he's thrown everything at it besides Restore & Protect. He has tried Berryman's, HPL and even Valvoline Premium Blue Restore Gen2 and a bunch of others...

Interesting 2025 Mercedes CLA advertisement I saw the other day

Powerful is relative, the Civic Type R does well for itself as a FWD with 315hp https://www.caranddriver.com/features/a42387169/lightning-lap-2023/ If you drop $67k on the highest AMG trimmed CLA you get 416hp (out of a 2 liter 😅). It's no EV but not bad.
