Wow finally! I am ordering some out of principle, even though I bought a bunch of Amsoil filters to hold me over lol

Royal Purple filters are out of stock in lots of models as well. Not sure who makes Subaru filters but RP 10-2867 (Honda and others) have been out of stock for over a year with no end in site.

Just to update, the 10-2867 is STILL out of stock everywhere.

If you simply google the part number, Summit and O'Reilly show in stock. You click them and both are unavailable. Summit has been special order for months. O'Reilly shows shipping and pickup as unavailable.

Does anyone have more insight on this? I know these filters are used on lots of engines but this is the size that fits just about every Honda. I haven't been able to find the RP 10-2867 for a while now, which is my go-to filter. The Amsoil filter has also been unavailable. What gives? Clearly...

If it's such a great oil I don't get why it is put to market so poorly...

Seems that only Walmart and Amazon stock Pennzoil Ultra Platinum. I know 0w20 isn't an overly popular weight but I can't even find it on Walmarts website (I hate Walmart so it's ok) but on Amazon I can only get the 5 quart jug, no single quarts. What gives?

Thanks so much for the responses. I'm interested to see how the SR-5 and HAMP stand up in the UOA. What are the good filters these days? Not that I have any issues with HAMP, but I would like to try different options. Thinking about going with Napa Platinum S2000 size.
